Our products are for men and women, and we lean more on the masculine side of things. Each product we make is a gift to our customers, and we need you to help us give them that warm, fuzzy feeling when they receive it and smell it and feel it and love it.

  • Bookkeeper & Office Manager – Nashville, TN, Part-time

    Bookkeeper needed for small, creative manufacturing company.

    We’re expanding to Nashville from our other location in Seattle, WA. We have a bunch of positions available, but for this particular ad, we’re looking for in-house bookkeeping and office management help.

    We are a handcrafted artisan company. We make skincare, men’s grooming products, candles, teas, and more. Our products are for men and women, and we lean more on the masculine side of things. The company, as a whole, is on the edgier side. We need those with a good sense of humor and flexibility.

    We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong accounting or bookkeeping background that can manage our payroll, billing, AR, AP and Inventory accounting needs on a part time basis. This work currently requires only about 12 hours weekly, but this requirement continues to grow very quickly with our business. At the beginning of the job, more hours will be necessary to work through some backed up work.

    We use QBO and DEAR Inventory Systems. The job will be to keep both up-to-date with weekly transactions and stock received, made, shipped, etc. The bookkeeper will work with our production team to make sure our inventory stays accurate. This is important, as we are expanding to have 2 distribution centers, Nashville and Seattle, and this is our first go at doing so, so the systems must be tight and efficient.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform all bookkeeping functions using QuickBooks Online accounting software
    • Process income, expenses, bank deposits
    • Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
    • Bank and credit card reconciliations
    • Gather payroll information for Payroll processing company (we use a third party, so this is easy and requires little time/effort)
    • Human Resources functions including new hire onboarding and handling Workers Compensation
    • Manage the office to ensure effective telephone and mail communications both internally and externally and maintain professional image
    • Respond to incoming calls and direct to appropriate parties
    • Maintain office equipment including computers, copier, fax, telephones, etc.
    • Maintain breakroom space with coffee, necessary food, etc. for everyone
    • Maintain and replenish inventory and office supplies
    • Assist with preparing documents for Board meetings, training, and other meetings
    • Assist with securing locations for conferences, training and special events
    • Keep the office clean and tidy – organize supplies, file paperwork, etc.

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
    • Strong administrative and organizational skills
    • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work independently, and meet deadlines
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Demonstrated bookkeeping/accounting competence
    • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
    • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
    • Commitment to continuous improvement
    • Practice effective team behavior and demonstrate effective interpersonal relationships

    Knowledge of inventory accounting is a must.

    Job is part-time, starting at 12 hours a week. Hours will increase as we grow.

  • Master Barber/Stylist – Nashville, TN, Full-Time

    Need a Master Barber/Stylist with Master Barber/Stylist license who’s down to manage a BRAND NEW barbershop!

    We’re also looking for licensed barbers/stylists that can provide shaving and beard care services.

    We need a Master Barber/ Stylist who’s down to run the shop like it’s their own. You will be on the groundfloor and help build this shop from the ground up. You’ll even help select the new team you’ll work with. Ever dreamed of running your own thing, but couldn’t get past the stress of all the little details? We’ll handle the business side. You handle running the shop. It’s a perfect job for the right person!

  • Outside Sales Rep – Federal Way, WA or Nashville, TN, Part-time

    Whiskey, Ink, & Lace is seeking a qualified sales person to work with our clients and team.
    If you enjoy building relationships through providing customers with products that help them live cleaner, naturally, this may be the job for you!

    This job will be selling to boutiques, grocery stores, at markets occasionally, to tattoo parlors, distilleries, wineries, beauty salons, etc. Most of it will be online (we can provide an office and computer), and some will be footwork to local stores. If you are comfortable being around these types of places and can comfortably communicate with people who own tattoo parlors or beauty salons, for instance, then we want you to apply!

    We are looking for someone who wants a part-time sales job right now. We will eventually be able to create this into a full-time position. For now, it’s the perfect job for someone who wants additional income and can help us provide clean living products to customers.

    However, being part of a growing small business means there will be the opportunity to make an impact on all aspects of the business, including Strategy and Sales & Marketing. The successful candidate will be able to take on greater responsibility over time.

  • Cold Product Production & Labeling Worker – Nashville, TN, part-time

    We’re particularly interested in people who have a kindergartner-like love for arts and crafts, enjoy participating in the creation of a well-made, quality product, and can follow instructions and recipes to a ‘t’. Applicant must have good hygiene. We need people who are clean in order to handle bath and body products that customers will be using.

    Knowledge of alternative health, making soaps and natural body care products, and general ability to follow recipes directly is a huge plus.

    The initial job will consist of labeling and packaging products, and will grow into making products according to very specific recipes. We need someone incredibly detail-oriented to help us produce a quality handmade product. Must be able to put a label on straight and pay attention to detail.

  • Shipping Coordinator –  Nashville, TN, part-time

    Shipping coordinator needed for picking and packing orders for our small business.

    Experience in warehouses or with shipping products for a small business is a huge plus.

    The initial job will consist of picking items needed for orders of our skincare, haircare, and men’s grooming products. You will be working directly with our Warehouse Manager to ensure customers receive the best experience with our business. We need someone incredibly detail-oriented to help us make sure our customers get the correct products in one piece and have a good experience with us, from the unboxing of the product to the use of it. Must be able to pay attention to detail. Must also be able to lift 40lbs. Must be able to work on your feet for up to 4 hours at a time.

    Job will start at 12-24 hours a week. Hours will quickly increase as we get closer to our peak times and the holidays.

    • Obtain merchandise from bins or shelves.
    • Read orders to ascertain options, sizes, colors, and quantities of merchandise.
    • Place merchandise on tables matching packing slips.
    • Keep records of out-going orders.

    • Project Manager/Event Planner –  Federal Way, WA, part-time

      Project Manager and Event Planner needed for our maker’s space and market business, Margin Colab. The job will be coordinating events and managing use of our maker space.

        • Responsible for all aspects of the project assigned based on the estimate, contract documents and schedule from the award of contract to the final payment.Able to review and understand contract documents (spreadsheets, drawings, specifications, addendums, RFI’s, contract etc.) and develop a complete execution strategy for the contracted work.

          Follow the estimate and bring project in within or under budget.

        • Build a working relationship with the customers so that they have confidence in Margin Colab.
        • Communicate to the customer clearly and timely.
        • Schedule the project in logical steps based on the events planned
        • Ensure Margin Colab’s safety policy is closely followed.

        • Clear communication with the factories, vendors and installers, as well as strong communication remotely with the Nashville team.
        • Able to review and respond to changes and pricing needs throughout the project.

        • Realize the goal is to get the events planned smoothly to the satisfaction of the customer. Always keep the “big picture” in mind when dealing with the obstacles along the way.     •  In-House Graphic Designer – Nashville, TN, Part-Time

      Skills you need for the job:
      • Adobe Creative Suite with emphasis on Illustrator and Indesign
      • Fluent in Mac
      • Cleanliness – We need a clean workspace. Borderline Walter White crazy style clean. No flies in our space! If you’re the type who picks up after yourself, that’s what we want!
      • Ability to follow directions
      • Great communication – You will be working with a team where every member is needed to keeping things going. Great communication with your crew is crucial.
      • Print and packaging design experience is a plus! Social media experience also a plus.

      Basic Qualifications:
      • Comfortable around liquor/alcohol – No, we’re not a bar, distillery, brewery, or the like. But the business has a good bit to do with whiskey and things of that nature, so comfort around spirits is a must.
      • Flexible Schedule – Times may change due to production demand
      • Good vibes only – It’s a small team, so one grumpy gus can bring down the warehouse, but a positive attitude can pump up the team.
      • Attention to detail – SO important. No product leaves without being a perfect gift that would make your most crazy OCD friend happy to own.
      • Proficient math skills – Basic algebra… and PEMDAS. 😉
      • Comfortable with standing, bending, lifting for long periods of time – Tired of sitting in a computer chair all the time? Stay in shape with this job. Always moving and going. Don’t worry, we supply coffee as a little extra fuel for days when the going gets tough.
      • Manual dexterity is a must – A steady hand is necessary.
